Here are some of the great things that are happening at Boise State Radio!

A Special Message from BSR's General Manager, John Hess...
Thanks to all of you who contributed your financial support during our recently concluded Fall fundraiser. Due to your efforts, we raised a record $250,000 during the campaign! It was great to listen in on some of the wonderful phone calls supporting the station. It is a privilege to get your feedback on how we are doing here at Boise State Radio. And, it’s your suggestions and comments that help us shape BSR’s programming.
I know you’ve heard me say this on-air a hundred times, but you really are the public in “Public Radio.” It’s your on-going financial support that makes it possible to produce local programming like our upcoming election night special. The special will focus on local, regional and statewide races giving you more in-depth insight and analysis on this year’s election as you drive home from the polls.
Boise State Radio is the media sponsor welcoming Joan Baez, a living legend in Folk music to Boise. She will perform November 17th at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise. We’ll be hosting an after performance reception to honor Joan Baez. We’d love for you to join us. Read on to learn more about how you could get a seat at our “backstage” reception. I hope to see you there!
Thanks for listening and thanks for your continued support of Boise State Radio.
